As per the users’ complaints, this error comes when a user tries to make a purchase from the Nintendo e-shop. As per the users’ complaints, they can add the funds to their account normally, but when they try to make the purchase this error occurs.
During our research, we have found that this is a known issue, and as per the Nintendo website, users may get this error while making a purchase from the Nintendo website. And usually, this error comes because of some issues with the payment method/card.
This is what Nintendo says, but in our research, we have found that even those who are using the funds to make the purchase are getting this error which indicates that sometimes this error may also come because of some other reasons.
Fixes For Nintendo Error Code 9001-0119
- Our first suggestion for you will be just to restart your device by shutting it down for around 5 minutes and then restart the device. Then check if the error still comes.
- If you still get the error after restarting your device then sign out of your Nintendo account and sign back in. Try this and check if it helps with the issue or not.
- If you are using a card that is already added to your account then try removing it from your account and then re-add it. Then try to make the purchase again.
- If the error continues, and you have an alternate credit or debit card, then consider using your alternate card. You can also choose to use any alternate payment method such as PayPal, Nintendo funds, etc.
- In case you don’t have a PayPal account then you can simply make one with the same debit card.
- If the error is still there then check the Nintendo service status by referring here. In case the official service status page is showing any ongoing issues then we suggest you to wait for a couple of hours, and try again.
