Verifying the game files is a process where your game launcher performs a check for all the game files that are needed for the game to work properly.
During the game file verification process if the launchers find any missing or corrupt game files then it tries to fix them.
The file verification process is very helpful in case your game is crashing, freezing, missing texture, game add-ons are not working, etc.
- While performing the game file verification process make sure of the following things,
- When running the file verification process make sure to not shut down your game launcher or device.
- The total time for the file verification process depends upon the size of the game that you are trying to repair.
- When verifying game files, avoid running activities like running your antivirus, defragmenting hard drive, etc.
- When needed to perform file verification for multiple games, make sure to perform the process for one game at a time.

Verifying Game Files On Ubisoft Connect PC
- Launch Ubisoft Connect.
- Go to the Library tab.
- Select the Game that you want to verify.
- Select the Three dots button just next to the Play.
- Select Verify files.

Verifying Game Files On GOG Galaxy
- Launch the GOG Galaxy launcher.
- From the left side, select Owned Games.
- Then go to the Game which you need to verify, and Right-click on it.
- Take your cursor over the Manage installation, and select Verify / Repair.

- Open the Epic Gamеs Launchеr.
- From the left side panel select Library to access your installed games.

- Select Vеrify.

Verifying Game Files On EA Desktop App
- Open the EA app.
- From the left side panel select My Collection.
